Bridge will Truth Squad gubernatorial showdown on Sunday

In the only event that resembles a debate in the Michigan race for governor, Rick Snyder and Mark Schauer will appear together Sunday evening at a Town Hall in Detroit. The one-hour event will be televised at 6 p.m.

There will be no shortage of pundits to tell you how they performed. But if you want to know the facts behind the candidates’ words, come back to Bridge Monday morning for a special Michigan Truth Squad. We’ll cut through the rhetoric and tell voters who is playing fast and loose with the data, and who is shooting straight.
