Bridge’s October book club selection is ‘What the Eyes Don’t See’

october book club

Bridge’s bi-monthly book club returns in October with our last book club selection of 2022. Readers are invited to join this interactive discussion with physician Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, author of “What the Eyes Don’t See,” a first-person account of the tragedy of the Flint Water Crisis and the tenacity of those who worked to bring justice and clean water to Flint.

“What the Eyes Don't See” reveals how Hanna-Attisha, her team of researchers and parents, friends and community leaders discovered that children were being exposed to lead through Flint’s tap water. The group then fought to expose the truth to the world.

Please bring your lunch and join Bridge Book Club to discuss the book on Zoom from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m Thursday, October 13. You’ll have an opportunity to submit questions for Hanna-Attisha during the event. Bridge health reporter Robin Erb will moderate this discussion.

To receive an invitation and Zoom link to this discussion, please complete this event registration form.
