More than 75 readers joined Bridge and Jones for a discussion of his crime thriller set in Detroit. The first novel in Jones' “August Snow” series, the story is a tale of murder, greed, economic cyberterrorism, race and urban decay. “August Snow” won the Hammett Prize for crime novels and the Nero Award for mystery novels.

Jones discussed his research, transitioning from a career in marketing to becoming a full-time author, how he captures Detroiters’ spirit in his books, the possibility of seeing August Snow on the big screen, the release of the fourth book in the series in two weeks and much more.
