Online broadcast to discuss Michigan groundwater emergency on Oct. 1

Bridge Magazine is teaming with reporting partners Circle of Blue and Detroit Public Television to discuss Michigan’s groundwater emergency during an online interactive broadcast at 1 p.m. Oct. 1.

National experts and journalists will define and debate responses to groundwater pollution challenges that are disrupting the lives of millions in Michigan and across the country. Join experts and journalists in virtual breakout groups to discuss:

  • Pollution threats to groundwater in Michigan and nationally
  • The strengths and weaknesses of state and federal pollution-prevention policies
  • Areas of concern for groundwater pollution
  • Sources of information about your water quality and what to do

Circle of Blue is a Traverse City-based nonprofit affiliate of the Pacific Institute, a water, climate and policy think tank. Circle of Blue publishes WaterNews.
