Join school forums in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Dearborn

Michigan will spend nearly $13 billion out of its School Aid Fund for the coming year. Most of that money will go to public schools across the state. Is Michigan getting the most it can out of the school investment?

The Center for Michigan stands ready to help you join the discussion on K-12 education.

CFM, parent to Bridge Magazine, is engaged in a year-long series of community conversations on K-12 education. In the next week, CFM will be hosting public sessions inDetroit, Dearborn and Grand Rapids:

June 14

Location: Don Bosco Community Center, 19321 West Chicago, Detroit.

Time: 4:30 p.m. for youths, 6:30 p.m. for adults.

RSVP: Just show up at the appointed time for your age group and join the conversation.

Location: Harrison Park School, 1440 Davis NW, Grand Rapids.

Time: 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.

RSVP: Just show up at the appointed time and join the conversation.

June 22

Location: Great Start Wayne Collaborative, U-M Dearborn Fairlane Center, Dearborn

Time: 10 a.m.
